LEGO announced the new STEAM robotics kit at an event in New York City on 4/2.

"LEGO Education SPIKE Prime"

It's targeting kids aged 11 to 14. Also, as you can guess from its name ("Education" series), it is more targeting class than home. It will work with Scratch and support Python.

Hopefully, it will bridge the gap between LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 Core Set and LEGO Mindstorms Education EV3 Core Set.

LurnBot will add this kit to the rental line-up once it is released so that complete LEGO Education Series (Release is expected on August 2019).
